As soon as possible, see a financial aid counselor to discuss your loan
needs during your semester and any financial options available through
their office. Be sure to inform the counselor of all costs of the program,
including a breakdown of tuition, room & board, travel expenses,
fees, etc.
* Make
sure someone (parent, sister, brother) has provided permission in writing,
to the Office of Scholarship and Financial Aid to discuss any problems
that may occur during your absence from the US. Make sure this person
understands the information before you leave.
*
A month before leaving, you should follow up with your financial aid
counselor to verify that all aid is in place and necessary paperwork
is complete.
