Spring 2003

The Virginia Tech Chapter of Phi Beta Delta, promoted several international programs and new initiatives on campus during the 2003 Spring Semester. These events included the following:

Annual Phi Beta Delta Conference

A primary effort was made to support a Virginia Tech student to the annual Phi Beta Delta conference in March at the Universidad de Las Americas in Pueblas, Mexico. This conference met in collaboration with the 2003 Latin American Model United Nations Conference. The Gamma Omega Board, working with the Model UN Group at Virginia Tech, selected Doug Bradley, an Industrial and Systems Engineering major, to participate. The chapter paid all of his basic expenses. He has written a brief essay demonstrating his enthusiasm for the experience in Mexico, which will be included in an Office of International Research, Education, and Development publication. more events>>>
