Education: Heyddy Pichardo is the liaison between Virginia Tech in Blacksburg and the Caribbean Center for Education and Research in the PUNTACANA Ecological Foundation in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. She's responsible for ensuring the health and well-being of Virginia Tech students throughout their stay in Punta Cana. She supervises all services required for the programs and makes changes to improve them in order to ensure an outstanding and safe visit. She provides support to faculty and staff, conferences organizers and participants and related guests to the CCER . She maintains a positive working relationship with visiting faculty and staff, alumni, local government officials and local stakeholders. She provides follow-up services to resolve any issues that affect the smooth operation of Virginia Tech and PCEF programs based at CCER .
