Application Information for Prospective Incoming Exchange Students

Greetings from the Education Abroad Office at Virginia Tech! We are pleased that you are interested in studying as a non-degree student at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, which is commonly known as Virginia Tech. Should you be selected to participate in a bilateral exchange with Virginia Tech, studying here will likely be one of the most rewarding and challenging experiences you will ever have.

The following materials make up the application for applying to study at Virginia Tech as part of a bilateral exchange program. You should submit these materials to the designated Exchange Program Coordinator at your home institution. The Exchange Program Coordinator must first review the materials before he or she will send them directly to the Education Abroad office at Virginia Tech. We encourage you to make an appointment to meet with the Exchange Program Coordinator at your home institution as soon as possible, in order to learn more about the specific details that govern the exchange, the courses that may be possible to take at Virginia Tech, and the deadline for submitting application materials.
